Chris Thomas has spent the past 30 years making paintings of the cottage and village where he lives, on a dramatic stretch of the North Cornwall coast between Boscastle and Tintagel.
The works produced are evocative and intense, recording corners of his garden, the surrounding fields, cliffs and the sea in all weathers and seasons, often using an easel cemented into the ground. More recently he has aquired a van in which the paintings can be transported up to Bodmin Moor, hooked onto the outside and worked on site.
